R Model-Fertilizer Spreader
You asked for a "bullet proof" spreader capable of spreading fertilizer 100' widths accurately and consistently. This is that spreader. The Simonsen R model is an extreme duty spreader designed to withstand the additional strain that wide spread patterns inflict on your spreader body.
Features include:
- 34" belt over chain conveyor or chain without belt for special applications.
- 50 degree side slopes with inverted suspended "V" for complete cleanout without bridging.
- Heavy duty 24" distributor fans with 4 heavy gauge fan blades per distributor fan.
- Heavy duty hydraulic system with a spur gear reduction drive.
- 10 gauge hopper construction measuring 102" wide, length will vary depending upon the model desired.
- Raven SCS660 electronic controller system with variable rate capability is standard. Other controller systems available upon request.
- Spread rate from 50 lbs. per acre to 12,000 lbs. per acre.
- Spread widths:
- Fertilizer - 100 feet
- Lime - 60 feet
- Gypsum - 75 feet
- Poultry litter and other materials - depends upon product consistency and application
