Simonsen 512S Orchard Spreader
- Two wheel trailer type fertilizer spreader with stainless steel hopper body.
- 50 cu. ft. capacity, (1.5 tons of 60 lb. material). Hopper dimensions are 60” wide by 96” long.
- Twin 18” distributor fans powered by two gearboxes, driven by 540 rpm tractor PTO.
- Three sets of quick change V-belt sheaves to vary fan speed; (at 540 PTO RPM fan speeds are 710 rpm; 375 rpm; & 200 rpm. Spread width at 710 rpm fan speed is 30 ft w/most granular materials. Fan height is 17” above ground.
- Spread rates are 85 to 640 pounds per acre.
- Three spread rate ranges are provided w/3 sets of quick change roller chain sprockets.
- Removable bolt-on banding deflectors to direct material to the sides and spread between tree rows.
- Seven inch wide stainless steel conveyor chain.
- Conveyor chain powered by press wheel drive, press wheel drive is engaged & disengaged w/rope control.
- Hopper dimensions are 60” wide x 96” long. Tread with is on 60” centers.
- Overall height is 56”. Overall width is 72.5”. Overall length is 14’ 4 ½”.
- Empty weight is 1590 pounds. Maximum gross weight is 7000 pounds.
- Two 12.5L x 15 tires. Tread width is 60” center to center.
- Red nylon fitted tarp w/tie down straps with ridgepole for support.
